A few weeks back I had the pleasure of meeting Chantal Kreviazuk at an event which launched a special line of Canada Goose Jackets that she helped design.
The coat ($995) not only will keep you toasty warm but should warm your heart as a portion of the proceeds from each limited edition jacket will be donated to Polar Bears International, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the polar bear and it’s habitat.
As Christmas is near, Chantal, who is most recognized for her song “Leaving on a Jet Plane“, has been on my mind… To my recollection she has never released a holiday album, furthermore I have never heard her actually sing a festive song, so I decided to confront her about it. She told me not only has she recently recorded a melody for a special ‘Korres’ CD, she will be doing a TV special. But the best news… She promised me she would be singing 5 festive diddies at the ‘Twas the Night’ event in Calgary this Wednesday.
This could be more exciting to me than seeing a partridge in a pear tree! As a fan of hers and Christmas, I couldn’t be more delighted!
