A few weeks back I was invited to attend a screening of ‘Vidal Sassoon; The Movie’ at the new Eveline Charles Academy. No, Mr. Sassoon was not in attendance but several minutes after I arrived I was introduce to Eveline Charles herself.
The introduction threw me off and before I could stop myself, I blurted out “That’s not a person!” but after a quick peek at her driver’s license, Eveline assured me that she indeed was a person. When a brand is so strong, much like the denim ‘Levi Strauss’, you sometimes forget these are actual people.
So what’s she like? Exactly what I would expect: polished, sleek, charming and delightful. Like twins separated at birth we hit it off. Talking about fashion and our likes and dislikes, I had a fabulous conversation with the brand icon.
I imagine that if we were to meet again it would be over mani’s followed by wine and laughter.
It was a pleasure meeting you E.C. you are a quite the delight!
