What to Wear Wednesdays

What to Wear Wednesdays (Ke$ha)

September 7, 2011

Last night I experienced the lowest rent concert I have ever seen, Ke$ha. Now I didn’t expect to see a lot of razzle dazzle but that girl was on a major budget and as the saying goes; “whats good for the goose is good for the gander” meaning the concert goers were on a major ‘budget’ with there outfits.

Now I am seriously hoping all those girls didn’t walk to the concert in their get ups, that being said it was on the same grounds as Cirque so perhaps people thought they were working clowns. I was going to take a photo but I couldn’t keep a straight face long enough to ask any of the girls, so instead I decided to re-create what I saw.

It was a hot mess of ratty hair extensions, bad make up, what I assume where garbage bags, and a lot of torn up fish nets. This outfit had no age limit – 12 year olds to 65 year olds; I felt like I was at Denny’s in West Hollywood at 4am. Shame on you!

Now that being said for the first time at any concert that I’ve been to the boys brought the fashion to the table. As many people were there to see Ke$ha as were for her opener, LMFAO; these 2 guys got their style perfectly.

At first I thought they where hillbilly trash, then when I saw LMFAO on stage I realized they had their style locked up! Perfection!

Overall the show was pretty good despite the ‘dollar store’ stage. But this was Ke$ha, I wouldn’t have expected any more. Enjoy the highlight from the show!

  1. From the first second I saw Ke$ha I’ve always said that the bitch stole my look. I was doing the messy blonde hair, black eye shaddow, fur and leather, and excessive accessorizing thing way before she ever made it famous. Which I feel gives me some authority on this subject, and last night was a total mess of failed attempts to look like a wild $leazy party girl. My friend and I literally just stood in the dome and watched all the horrible outfits go by and I would say that that was more entertaining than the concert itself. Ke$ha’s got her look and she rocks it, LMFAO’s got their look and they rock it (I met them back stage and they we’re in old school roller skates for no reason, so cool) , but when you mix the 2 together and throw it on a 15 year old girl who just had her first beer; aka the girls sitting in front of me, it is a sloppy hot ass mess of glitter and animal print that made me ashamed to be in glitter and animal print myself. However Redfoo said he liked my zebra print dress so that makes me the best dressed at the show ahaha.

    Love you fab
