You’re a Model (casting tomorrow)

March 31, 2011

I have some great news!

 Corbis want new models!

Let me be very clear… they want YOU!

They will be hosting a casting call for upcoming paid shoots. They are looking for ALL types of people, so whether your 5 or 100 years old, underweight or overweight, tall or short, they want to meet you in person and take a quick photo. Then when they have a concept that needs a model who fit your description, you’re in!

I have been modeling for Corbis for a few years now. They use only the best! From the fabulous Art Directors to Photographers, Stylist, Make-up artists and Editors, this team turns out world-class photos. They are a fun, energetic company and that’s the type of model they look for!

Corbis is a stock photography company who takes great concept ideas, shoots them and sells the photos to companies who use them for a variety of different reasons. (you will be paid a one time shoot rate)

Below is a photo montage of what an average day might look like!

(or click here to watch a video about shooting with them)

Shoots normally run 5-8 hours depending on how many concepts are being shot and how many models you are working with.

This is my favorite shoot that I have done with them thus far. The production concept was called ‘Smart Power’, shot by the amazing photographer Drew Myers

Then I move onto set while they set camera and lighting and lighting

Next the kiddy pool and the production team move into place and it’s go time!

A quick look at the playback monitors and I like what I see

Now skip forward a month. After some professional editing my photos are finished

So go to the open casting! You’ll be so happy you did!
